The Australasian Animal Registry (AAR) was established in 1989 and is the largest not-for-profit and most comprehensive animal registration and recovery service in Australasia. AAR is a division of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS). The RAS has been in existence since 1822 and places a high priority on the care of all animals. AAR follows the guiding principles and policies of its parent organization.
