20th July 2009: Boss gets recruited......
A little while ago, we were approached by the ARMY. They were looking for dogs that were driven for play and reward. We could think of no other dog than Boss.
Recruiters came to have a look at Boss, and they fell in love with him.
He is now topping his class to become a bomb detection dog.
Boss is loving being treated like a king and to him, work is play.
We will be getting frequent updates on Boss' progression, and we are proud to have a dog, that was marked for death prior to us saving him, is now serving his country to protect us.....

27th March 2009 A call for help: On Friday 27 March 2009, Wyong Pound called on CPR for help, they were going to put to sleep 8 dogs.
Corinne was on the case, and by the end of the day, we had all 8 dogs in Foster care.
What an effort, what a woman.

19th March 2009 Dumped Puppies at the Wyong Pound: Shannon becames a carer for two 3week old pups dumped in the overnight cages at the pound. The 2 gorgeous cattle cross pups were left for dead in the over night cages at Wyong Pound. Their little eyes were not even open. After bottle feed and sleepless nights, the little tikes, Bear and Indy are both doing well and putting on weight. The little guys will be up for adoption, if Shannon can part with them, in the next few weeks.
